We are in the process of investigating the existence of the Cingular Rizr. At this point in time, it appears that Cingular isn't ready to release the model. For you that found the page by searching for Cingular Rizor, Rizor and Rizr are the same model. The official name is Motorola Rizr Z3 for Cingular.

Again, we are unable to verify at this point in time whether the Rizr for Cingular exists or will exist. We will most definitely update the site when we have more information.

Moto Rizr

We have been searching and searching for up to date information about the Moto Rizr. The model is available on the internet, but hasn't been yet released by any of the majors.

We have heard a few rumors that Sprint is planning on releasing an Ev-Do version of the Rizr from Motorola, but we haven't yet seen anything that is definitive. A Sprint Rizr would be really cool, so we're crossing our fingers. Verizon could follow suit with a Verizon Rizr if this was the case, we shall see!

We've heard the Cingular is now delaying the release and may pass on the model altogether. Everyone is hoping that this isn't the case, the MOTORIZR should break the bank if Cingular goes with it. Thus far, only a few smaller providers have added the model.

Common Rizr Misspellings

We have noticed that users everywhere have been using mulitple spellings when talking about the MOTORIZR. Since we would like to clear the confusion, here are the spellings that many have been using.

Motorola Rizor seems to be one of the most common. This doesn't surprise us, because the Razr had a similar, expanded spelling. Many users spelled the Razr as Razor. Anyway, to clear things up, yes the Rizor is indeed the Rizr.

We've seen a few spell the Rizr as Motorola Rizer. This doesn't really make any sense because this spelling would indicate a different pronunciation, but it is indeed one and the same.

Lastly, we've seen quite a few spell it as MOTORIZOR. This one is used the least. The MOTORIZR and MOTORIZOR are two names for the exact same phone.

Moto Rizr Is Now Being Sold Online

There are several websites that are already selling the Rizr. The model has not been officially released, however, with a major service provider. At this point in time, the model is being sold unlocked, and since the model is made for GSM, it should work with both T-Mobile and Cingular. The official Cingular Rizr should be released before too long, but there is no official day of release at this point. I would expect that we would start seeing commercials on the t.v. first.

We will stay on top of it for you so and will post as soon as the Cingular Rizr or T-Mobile Rizr is officially released. We thank you for your visit, and will continue to work to keep you informed.

Two of Motorola's handsets were headlined at a show in Sanghai, China. The show was themed "A Night of Reflection", and was a celebration of Motorola's newest handsets. The show gave Motorola a chance to show off a little. The Rizr Z3 joined the Krzr as models that headlined the show. The Krzr has already been released, and the Rizr should follow suit soon.
Motorola Rizr Z3 Camera

The Motorola Rizr Z3 camera will be a 2 mega-pixel, which should be a super nice upgrade over the original Razr series. As is well known, the MOTORIZR Z3 has some nice upgrades.
The advantage of a 2 mega-pixel camera is that is has enough resolution to make printed images. 5 x 7 picture prints can easily be made with that kind of resolution, so the resolution factor is a nice feature.

Rizr Z3

The MOTORIZR Z3 is the newest release in the Razr series. The Rizr is going to be the first slider model that Motorola has released in the U.S.. Motorola released a slider in Asia, but it never made it to America!!!

The Rizr should be released late 2006 or early in 2007. We will let you know when we get a more definitive date. Check back for updates or you might miss it!

It appears that the Z3 will be GSM 850/900/1800/1900 plus EDGE. The model should connect easily to Cingular, T-Mobile, and any other GSM network. However, the phone has not been officially connected to any service providers at this point in time.

With Bluetooth, it should be easy to connect to a pc. It is believed that model will have a 2.0 megapixel camera, which is enough resolution technically to make 5 x 7 prints. Very nice indeed!

It will be equipped with a microSD cardslot, which will allow users to store extra photos and mp3s.

Editors Ratings:
The Motorola Rizr Z3 will surely be a smash. Users will love the look and functionality. Watch for the model to be the big hit in 2007.
